November / December Weekly Yoga Classes
Sometimes, one thing is enough.
As the year winds down and life gets a little busier, Season of Intention invites us to simplify, slow down and give our attention to what matters. Rather than trying to do it all, we'll explore what happens when we focus on just one thing at a time.
This session we'll explore how the choices we make on and off the mat can influence how we move, think and feel.
One Principle at a Time
There's more to yoga than the poses, and this session we'll explore some of the ideas that make yoga a practice for everyday life.
We'll draw inspiration from the Yamas and Niyamas, ten traditional principles that offer simple but meaningful ways to think about how we treat ourselves, respond to challenges and make choices in our daily lives.
Each week, we'll explore one idea through familiar yoga movements, breathwork and moments of reflection. There's nothing to memorize or get right. Just an opportunity to move, notice, ask a few questions and perhaps discover a different way of approaching something.
The goal isn't to change everything. It's to see how a little more awareness and intention might make a difference, both on and off the mat.
Throughout the session, we'll explore:
Building strength through simple, purposeful movements
Finding value in doing less with greater attention
Recognizing when to challenge ourselves and when to ease back
Using breath, movement and mindfulness to cultivate awareness
Making intentional choices about where we direct our time and energy
One principle. One intention at a time.
Each class caps at 6 participants.
All experience levels are welcome.
