UNLOCK YOUR INNATE CAPACITY TO HEAL, GROW AND THRIVE
Personalized yoga therapy rooted in ancient wisdom and guided by modern science.
Personalized yoga therapy rooted in ancient wisdom and guided by modern science.
Yoga therapy is a personalized, holistic approach to health and wellness—rooted in yoga and Ayurveda and informed by modern neuroscience. More than exercise, it’s a partnership in your healing journey. Sessions combine specific yogic tools and techniques to address individual physical, psychological and emotional needs. The practice draws on both top-down and bottom-up approaches to help regulate the nervous system. Top-down tools include meditation, self-awareness and guided reflection to shift the state of the body. Bottom-up tools use movement and breath to calm or energize the body, which in turn influences thoughts and emotions.
Through these methods, yoga therapy provides powerful resources for self-regulation, resilience and balance—meeting you where you are and supporting your journey forward by empowering you with tools for everyday well-being.
Yoga therapy can be a powerful complement to medical care and a supportive part of a healthy lifestyle. It may help with:
Healthy Aging – supporting mobility, balance and vitality
Stress Management – reducing anxiety and improving resilience
Better Sleep – calming the nervous system for restorative rest
Injury & Surgical Recovery – gentle practices to aid healing
Chronic Pain Relief – building awareness and ease in movement
Menopause & Hormonal Shifts – tools for balance and self-regulation
PTSD & Anxiety – grounding techniques to support emotional well-being
Chronic Conditions – including cancer, diabetes, obesity, heart disease, arthritis, hypertension, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s
Yoga Therapy is available as 30 or 60 minute sessions. The first session is typically 90 minutes and includes a comprehensive assessment. This assessment may include conversation, written questionnaires, a gentle structural assessment and simple movement exploration. From there, we create a plan designed to meet you exactly where you are.
30 MINUTE SESSION: $40
60 MINUTE SESSION: $70
Yoga therapy is not a replacement for licensed medical care. Instead, it complements existing treatment plans and can include collaboration with your healthcare providers.
How is yoga therapy different from a yoga class?
Yoga therapy is one-on-one or in small groups, with practices designed specifically for your body, health history and goals, so every session is safe, effective and uniquely supportive.
Do I need yoga experience?
No experience is needed. Yoga therapy is for everyone, and your therapist will meet you where you are.
What can I expect in a yoga therapy session?
Your journey begins with a comprehensive intake and assessment the first session to understand your health history, lifestyle, and goals.
Each follow up session is then personalized and may include:
Breathwork, mindful movement, and guided meditation
Tools from yoga, Ayurveda, and neuroscience
Simple home practices to support progress between sessions
Who can benefit from yoga therapy?
Anyone—whether you’re managing stress, looking to improve sleep, recovering from surgery, living with a chronic condition or simply seeking greater balance and resilience.
Can yoga therapy be combined with medical treatment?
Yes. Yoga therapy is a complementary practice that can work alongside your existing medical care. With your permission, your therapist can collaborate with your healthcare providers to ensure safe, integrated support.
How many sessions will I need?
Every person’s journey is different. Some people find benefit after just a few sessions, while others choose ongoing support for long-term wellness. Together, we’ll create a plan that works for you.
How long is a session?
Most private yoga therapy sessions are 60 minutes, though session length can be adapted depending on your needs.
The body remembers how to heal
